Peaceful Brooklyn

I've been enjoying so many autumnal scenes and photos on the blogs that I thought I would like to share some too. These were taken during a recent early morning at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens of which we are proud members. Not quite the back roads of New England, Canada or Wales, especially with the din of airplanes and sirens in the background, but still tranquil enough to calm a city-dweller's soul.

Gorgeous photos, Kate! They all look so peaceful. I really love the water lily and its beautiful reflection.

I wanted to go for the goblins festival in the BBG but the past few weekends have been busy. We are also members.

I was reading your post about the Halloween dogs last night and my computer froze up because I think I had too many windows open. I loved those costumes! Clinton Hill really is festive for Halloween!

Have you been to Eataly yet?

City gardens are all the more important because of the din of planes and sirens.... Lovely lovely photos, Kate.
