I'm not sure how this pair liked being tied to a bike rack while their person had breakfast at General Greene, but they maintained their dignity. |
Seems all the large dog teams were out running errands this morning too. |
At the farmers' market for bread and tomatoes. |
Is this the fabled peck of peppers? No, not pickled. |
.
Great gourds! |
Heirloom tomatoes - too pricey, but pretty. I buy the regular "field" tomatoes. |
Beautiful music - someone's dog was obviously charmed. |

What a beautiful day in Brooklyn! Good eye, Kate, as always!
Heirloom Tomatoes??? Puhleez....You are right to go for the garden kind. Great shots Kate, and I will go to the market in just a few weeks time. Love to look around. And I love to watch the 40 somethings with small children and their "child speak". It amuses/horrifies me.
I must have a b-i-g chunk of that pumpkin , or its twin , to add to a puchero with chicken , chard and chickpeas .
It's got chilly enough to eat big bowlsful of carbohydrates !
wonderful series, I like the dogs and the peppers
Great photos of life in your neighbourhood. Those peppers are such mouthwatering colours!
Interesting to see Old English Sheepdogs in New York.Hopefully they are not too far from a park, as they are big dogs who love to run.....
